Mystery History -- Solved

Thanks for all the great guesses in the first Mystery History contest! Unfortunately, there were no winners.

From 1933 to 1942 and from 1946 to 1950, the Chicago White Sox had their spring training right here in Pasadena at Brookside Park.

In this photo, taken in 1935, we have (left to right, facing us) Joseph Barry, the team's traveling secretary; J. Louis Comiskey, president of the White Sox organization; and Harry Grabiner, vice president.

Many thanks to Baseball Fever.

Don't you think I come closest to winning? I said Jackie Robinson. He played baseball. Don't you think that should count for something?
